Research Compliance Counselor, LLC was founded in 2008 on the principle that research compliance programs should be created with a commonsense approach to both applicable regulations and the complex situations that arise in the context of conducting research.
RCC is not a law firm, it is a research administration consultancy. Clients have created successful research compliance programs via RCC services because Christian understands that significant organizational change must be based on the realities of an organization’s history, internal politics, and resource limitations, not just the regulatory requirements.

Finding the right expert for your organizational needs can be a challenge. It can take time to develop the trust needed for larger projects. That’s why my first step with a potential new client involves a free 60-minute confidential consultation.
Services are provided at an hourly rate. Clients value the flexibility to change priorities when new challenges arise and to be able to access expert resources with smaller budgets.

Christian LaMantia
From working as the Assistant Vice President for Research at Case Western to opening her own consultancy in 2008, Christian has served organizations large and small for nearly 25 years.
She founded RCC because she saw so many of her colleagues struggling to keep their research compliance programs current, compliant and investigator friendly. Christian believes that professionals in her field need more than just the facts to do their difficult jobs, they need personal support from someone who truly understands their challenges - which is why “counselor” is more than just the name of the company.
As a self-identified introvert with a quirky sense of humor, she purposely avoids the limelight. However, Christian would gladly put you in contact with client references as she is very proud of the work they have done together.
